The alliance is creating a new “spearhead” force of some 4,000 troops designed to react if Russia attacks its eastern borders. AT LAST SOME TIME OFF
After another eight hour drive MB and I returned to Maine yesterday from Syracuse, New York. We arrived at the lake island home of a friend where we will stay for two days. This morning we both went for a kayak paddle around the lake and I just came in from an invigorating swim. The water is cool but not cold and felt wonderful. Next up is some reading while sitting in the sun and some lazing around. On Saturday we'll drive to Belfast where a peace festival is being held.
